The M-PC2 is the third generation of In-vehicle Computer from Microbus and is an advanced PC for use in all types of vehicles.

With some twenty years experience in PC design and development for rugged environments Microbus has a comprehensive understanding of the problems faced in running computers in vehicles and the technological demands involved.

With the wide-spread availability of digital radio networks including GSM, 3G, GPRS, TETRA (Airwave), Tetrapol and Mobitex the uses of In-vehicle Computers, such as the M-PC2, are growing rapidly. Thousands of Microbus computers are installed in UK Emergency Service vehicles as well as in Taxis and Public Utility vehicles. The M-PC2 can be adapted for use in any vehicle in any industry that requires Windows® applications in the vehicle.

Microbus is an ISO9001 certified company whose products are built and tested to the highest standards. Microbus only uses PC boards that are designed and manufactured in-house. The In-vehicle Computers are independently tested and certified to meet the European legal requirement of "e-mark", the UN’s “E-mark” and the UK Police Information Technology Organisation's A&ES5 issue 10.
