21/02 : ISC the Satellite Imagery provider in Qatar
It is an honor to announce launching of the latest and best satellite launched to date, Luna WorldView2, a subsidiary of Digital Globe, which was launched in October 2009 and is ready to provide the satellite images with high discrimination accuracy of 50 cm and is characterized by high speeds of rotation around the globe to enable to pass the orbit and return to shoot the same spot in about 24 hours in addition to distinguish the possibility of taking pictures 8-bands instead of 4-bands for the first time since the packets to serve four additional applications of soil analysis and access to film the bottom of the seas and oceans and to identify natural resources, pipelines and facilities and infrastructure.
We are also pleased to announce that Ideal Solutions Company is the authorized reseller for this new satellite in the State of Qatar with the authorization directly from the company Digital Globe and Space Imaging Middle East.
20/08 : Royal Jordanian operates ISC AVLS
In a Pilot Project, Ideal Solutions have implemented an AVLS "Automatic Vehicle Location System" for Royal Jordanian "RJ", where ISC have installed two Black Box AVL units at RJ vehicles and facilitate a user access for RJ engineers in order to track their vehicles on the maps and generate unlimited number of reports, graphs and data. This project comes after a deep study for RJ requirements, which can help RJ facilitate and operate its fleet easily and find out all drivers behaviors in addition to the management reports that can save money, time, resources and control all fleets.
15/03 : ISC go live with Qatofin/Qapco YMS Project
Qatar Petrochemical Company (QAPCO) announced it has selected the Autostore Container Terminal Management System (CTMS) to handle the export of plastic packaging materials from its plant and port at Mesaieed Industrial City (MIC) on the Qatar Peninsula. Operated by QAPCO manufacturing subsidiary Qatofin, Mesaieed Terminal annually handles around 250,000 TEU of Linear Low Density Polyethylene (LLDPE) resin beads. LLDPE is a popular secondary material used worldwide for making various grades of protective plastic packaging films and bags.An important Persian Gulf feeder terminal, the QAPCO/Qatofin Mesaieed facility combines integrated coastal manufacturing and shipment operations. Autostore CTMS is designed by leading terminal software specialists Central Systems & Automation: the Mesaieed Terminal application go live date for the phase 1 is 15th March 2009 and is being implemented jointly with Ideal Solutions, the Autostore regional partner in Qatari capital Doha.In addition to the core Autostore CTMS, QAPCO/Qatofin have opted for the Autostore Vessel Planning, EDI and Move Optimisation modules to ensure seamless, fast and efficient control of all container movements and manifests in line with the demands of the business. The joint Central Systems/Ideal Solutions team will also look after testing, configuration, implementation, training and software support aspects for Mesaieed Terminal.

On June 17th, ISC was contracted by Qatar Urban Planning & Development Authority (UPDA) to implement a new project for The Centre for GIS (CGIS). The project is called "National Mapping Archive Project" by which ISC will scan the existing aerial film negatives and contact prints using high quality and high definition scanners and to develop a GIS application and GDB using latest ESRI GeoRelational technology to enable CGIS users search, locate, manage, preview and print scanned images in a user-friendly customized interface. Additionally ISC is to index images, create metadata, train users, and provide long term technical support.
